Drum roll please: It’s Tony Campolo’s….80th birthday! (Or almost; it’s coming up on February 25.)
We’ve got a plan to make it special for him, and we need your help giving him two things: a birthday present and a birthday card.
- Birthday Present: The “80 for 80” campaign. We’ve created a page through which we are seeking to raise $80,000 in the next month to support one of Tony’s most passionate interests: scholarships for the rising generation of pastors and church leaders, so they can afford ministry training. In Tony’s 80 years, there is a lot to celebrate. The Lord has enabled Tony’s life-long ministry career to accomplish so much: 35 books, speaking in front of hundreds of thousands, the launch of EAPE (Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education) and its subsequent launch or support of scores of ministries, his fruitful teaching career at Eastern University, and of course, the start of his latest big thing – The Campolo Center for Ministry.
