I have exciting news to share with you today!
Newly graduated Campolo Scholars, John Galdames-Henry and Michelle Miles, began their summer as newlyweds! Jon and Michelle were married on June eighth.
This past month, Jon spent two weeks working with Tony Campolo, Lindy Backues, and St. John’s Baptist Church to organize and launch a summer Peace Camp program for an ecumenical coalition of urban churches.
He developed the curriculum, Bible studies, and schedule for pastors who participated in the weekly Peace Camps.

The couple has moved to northern Virginia to pursue opportunities for vocational ministry.
Because of their time as Campolo Scholars, both Jon and Michelle have a range of opportunities to consider with churches and church-based ministries.
