Dear friend,
I hope this finds you healthy and joyful as we prepare to celebrate the birth of the one whom Scripture calls “the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” (Col. 1:15).
Tony and Peggy will be special guests at the Campolo Center’s Christmas reception at Eastern next week, and our Campolo Scholars are looking forward to some time with their families amid their busy church activities!
Today I’d like to share a few encouraging updates from 2021:
- Campolo Scholars: We have grown to 20 Campolo Scholars – 10 undergrads at Eastern University and 10 seminarians at Palmer Theological Seminary.
- Campolo Fellows: Our weekly Campolo Scholars’ Forum and once-a-semester Campolo Fellows Lecture Series continue to provide formational learning and discipleship opportunities for the Scholars and the broader Eastern community.
- Faith in Action: The topics presented by our Campolo Fellows and Tony equip future church leaders for the unique challenges facing the church in our contemporary, rapidly changing cultural landscape.
As we look forward to 2022, we have three “Christmas wishes” that I’d like to share with you: New Scholars. New Mentors. New Partners.
Stay tuned, as I’ll be telling you more about these opportunities in the days to come. In the meantime, would you prayerfully consider a generous gift to support these areas of growth? Your gift will propel this mission forward. You can contribute online by clicking here.
Thank you again for your partnership and support. Praise God for the progress of the past year and the promise of the year ahead!
With gratitude,
