For the last few weeks, we’ve been considering the theme “All Things New.” Today I’d like to share some more good “news” with you!
Ally (Bartlett) Ruch joined the Campolo Scholar’s program at Eastern University in the fall of 2018.
While a student, Ally interned at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Downington, PA. Since graduating in December 2019, Ally has served as Director of Congregational Care and Director of Children’s Ministry.
This September, Ally was appointed as a licensed local pastor in the UMC to serve as Hopewell’s Pastor for Children and Families. We praise God for working in and through Ally to support the local church. Please join us in praying for her pastoral ministry.
And this week, it was our joy to award Ally with the *inaugural* Campolo Center for Ministry Alumni Award. (Click here to watch the ceremony and hear Ally’s acceptance speech, which begins at 48:15.)
Tony recently had this to say about Ally:
“Ally is a very special Eastern alum of the Campolo Scholars Program and stands out as a committed Christian ready to serve the world. Ally is not only a great student of the Bible and theology but is a great communicator with a passionate concern for people to come into a saving relationship with Christ. She has a great future as a church leader and Hopewell United Methodist Church is blessed to have Ally serving and ministering as a pastor and leader.”
Tony and I and the entire Campolo Center team are thankful for your generous and faithful partnership that makes the discipleship and development of Scholars like Ally possible.
As you are encouraged by the excellent work being done by the Campolo Scholars, I pray that you would be inspired to pray for and financially support this new generation of Christian leaders.
May God bless you as you celebrate ALL THINGS NEW!
