Greetings from Philadelphia and Eastern University’s Campolo Center for Ministry.
Tony preaching on a beautiful, Maine Sunday morning at the Ocean Park Temple where more than 550 people were in attendance.
Tony, Peggy and I had a wonderful time seeing and spending time with friends and fellow alumni at the Ocean Park Temple and the lobster and potluck dinner this last Sunday.
Our co-host, Lorna Hansen, reading a touching letter from a missionary who shared the ways Tony inspired her to full-time missionary service when she heard him speak years ago at the Black Stump Festival in Australia.
Special thanks to the Ocean Park Association and Lorna and Rob Hansen for being generous, gracious and hospitable hosts!
Tony holding his audience in the palm of his hand. He’s such a great storyteller.
Thank you to everyone who greeted us at the Temple and joined us for dinner in the Hansen’s beautiful barn. We enjoyed fellowship, food, stories and sharing hopes and plans for the future of Eastern and the Campolo Center.
Thanks, also, to those who sent their regrets and let us know they were unable to join us. You were missed and we hope to see you the next time!

As for next time… while Tony, Peggy and I drove back to Ocean Park, we talked about how much we’d love to do this again next summer. If you’d like to be included in those plans and have suggestions for our next gathering, please let me know. We’d love to hear from you!
Eastern’s Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations designed these cool beach tote bags for guests attending our Maine and Ocean City, NJ events in August. We filled them with Eastern swag, one of Tony’s book and other great stuff.
